I
am a freelance trainer in two main fields - Protective Behaviours
and Peer Mentoring. I also teach a variety of therapeutic crafts.
I
offer group training sessions (1 and 2-day courses) in Protective
Behaviours (PBs) in educational and multi-agency settings. I also
offer individual PBs sessions.
Over
the last three years I have been working in secondary schools
training pupils to be mentors for the new arrivals. This is now
expanding into middle schools. The training I offer uses principles
from Protective Behaviours, the Thinking Environment and Active
Listening.
I
teach a variety of crafts in many different settings – youth
clubs, drug rehabilitation centres, learning disability and physical
disability day centres, lifelong learning groups and prisons.
I
live in Oxford and I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK.
